GRYPHLINE has released the core chapter version 1.4 update, “Homecoming,” for Arknights: Endfield. This major update concludes the long-running Wuling storyline while introducing new story chapters, playable Operators, exploration areas, industrial gameplay improvements, anniversary rewards, and more. So, let’s take a look at everything version 1.4 brings.
Homecoming concludes the Wuling storyline with two new regions
So, Version 1.4 marks the conclusion of the Wuling arc, where you finally return to reclaim the homeland that was abandoned after the devastating Very Large Rift disaster. 10 years after the Wuling Science Station was destroyed, improvements to the Xiranite Nexus have finally made it possible to contain the Blight. Alongside Arcane and the people of Wuling, you embark on a mission to reclaim the long-lost region.
Moreover, the update introduces two new story areas:
- Yinglung Pass: This serves as the entrance to the sealed Wuling territory, where you’ll meet the mysterious Feranmut Proxy, Si, who helps guide the final enhancement of the Xiranite Nexus.
- North Wuling Exclusion Zone: The ruined homeland is now covered in dangerous Blight Miasma. Here, you can clear corrupted areas, suppress the Blight, and create a safe path for returning citizens.
Besides the new regions, the update also introduces:
- Personal Device equipment for exploration.
- New Blightshade enemies.
- New bosses like Alleikhreos and Chiliarch feature unique battle mechanics that require interrupting specific attacks.
Arknights: Endfield Version 1.4 update: New Operators
So, Version 1.4 also brings two new playable characters, and they’re as follows:
1. Arknights: Endfield New Operator: Arcane
So, Arcane finally becomes playable after serving as one of the central characters in the Wuling storyline. This new 6-Star Operator is the captain of the Yinglung Special Task Force and also serves as the first caster with a unique combat system that changes depending on the balance between her Intellect and Will attributes.

So, Array Arcana: INT lets you frequently use skills, do area damage, and cause corrosion effects. While the Array Arcana: WILL includes enemy grouping, stronger debuffs, and Arts Infliction.
2. Arknights: Endfield New Operator: Liino

Liino, also known as the Morning Star of La Fantoma, is an Electric Support 6-Star Operator capable of switching between Vocalist Stance and Cosmovoice Stance. These stances provide continuous healing, attack buffs, and combo support, making her an excellent addition to multiple team compositions.
Industrial gameplay expands with new AIC systems
Now, one of the biggest additions in Version 1.4 is a major expansion to the AIC production system. The update introduces Gas as an entirely new industrial material state alongside solids and liquids. So, you can now:
- Produce gaseous materials.
- Convert between gas, liquid, and solid resources.
- Unlock new production lines.
- Build new machinery.
- Discover additional technologies.

And new resources include: Inergen, Xiragen, and Pyrrolite Components. Besides this, the update also introduces the Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station, which is a new industrial output with expanded logistics options.
Arknights: Endfield Version 1.4 brings new permanent activities and gameplay modes
I think Arknights: Endfield’s Version 1.4 introduces the game’s largest collection of activities so far.

- Echoes of War: This new permanent seasonal mode features rotating combat stages, three difficulty levels, seasonal ratings, and exclusive seasonal titles. You can earn all Oroberyl rewards through Normal difficulty, while higher difficulties provide extra prestige rewards.
- HEAT RAGE! MEGA ARENA!: You can take part in this fun combat activity built around unusual two-Operator team combinations.
- The Rooted Realm: This one’s a timed exploration mode that offers hidden paths, secret combat rooms, and collection objectives.
Moreover, additional content also includes new Umbral Monument challenges and Six Delver of the Cryptic puzzle maps.
Arknights: Endfield Version 1.4 adds plenty of player-friendly improvements
So, the team has also introduced several quality-of-life improvements to the game, and some of the biggest additions include:

- Early unlock access to Wuling for newer players.
- Fully refined Arsenal Defense Crates from Operator Trials.
- Faster equipment manufacturing.
- Expanded Photo Mode.
- Remote retrieval for outdoor equipment.
- Preserved conduit connections in blueprints.
- More combat customization options.
- Better targeting controls.
- Graphics support for DLSS 4.5, PSSR2, and FSR 3.
Celebrate six months of Arknights: Endfield with free rewards
To celebrate the game’s Half-Year Anniversary, you can now claim a variety of rewards. These include:
- Three-day Tribute of Companionship Login: 3,000 Oroberyl, 5 Basic HH Permits, and free six-star weapon Farsight.
- Mail Rewards: 2,000 Oroberyl and development materials.
