1 German-Netherlands Corps (1GNC) has decided to deploy Systematic’s SitaWare Headquarters to enhance its digital Command-and-Control capabilities. The software supplies the Corps with a unified Common Operational Picture (COP) for synchronized decision-making across the high-readiness formation.
SitaWare Headquarters is specifically designed to support 1GNC’s unique framework nation model: Germany and the Netherlands provide the core command structure and processes, with 10 additional NATO allies contributing personnel. 1GNC must synthesize data from a wide array of different systems to maintain situational awareness.
SitaWare Headquarters serves as a functional capability layer, integrating these diverse inputs into a single operational picture. This allows commanders to plan and coordinate coalition operations with greater technical coherence. By utilizing a C2 solution built on NATO-standard interoperability, 1GNC ensures that data remains accessible and actionable across all national contingents, harmonizing procedures without compromising national requirements.
“1GNC sets the benchmark for coalition interoperability in practice. Integrating personnel and systems from multiple nations demands a common command-and-control capability that enables shared situational awareness and harmonised processes. We are proud to support the Corps with SitaWare Headquarters as part of its continued digital development” – Sven Trusch, Managing Director of Systematic’s German subsidiary.
