Brawl Stars has kicked off its first football Community event, called the adidas STARR CUP, which is now live until July 1, 2026. Through the event, you can build your own Brawl Ball teams and win the full-blown tournament to obtain the adidas Champion title, a free Brawler, Gridiron Otis Skin, Chaos Drops, and more. So, let’s dive in and explore in detail!
Brawl Stars adidas STARR CUP Overview
So, adidas STARR CUP is now live in Brawl Stars and will run until July 1, 2026, giving you enough time to build your team and compete in the tournament for the ultimate prize. With the FIFA World Cup 2026 ongoing, you can now fulfill your football fever in Brawl Stars and compete against NPC Brawler teams, two real Community teams, and even enjoy a Grand Final rematch. Brawl Stars now joins games like Free Fire, Roblox, PUBG Mobile, and more to give fans a football-themed event.
Now, since it’s a community event, you must be wondering how everything actually works. Well, the Brawl Stars Community is now divided into 2 teams, letting you choose your teams, logos, names, and more before the matches start. Moreover, for just today and tomorrow, both teams get to vote to build teams from scratch:
- Pick Your Name (Today): You, along with others, can now mix and match words from two pools, adjectives plus nouns, to vote on your team’s name.
- Design Your Badge (Tomorrow): You can decide your badge shape, color, and icon to represent your team throughout the tournament.
Brawl Stars adidas STARR CUP Tournament
So, after both teams are formed, the adidas Starr Cup Tournament will begin, a 12-day competition split across 2 stages. Just like the FIFA World Cup 2026, where the Group Stage matches are currently going on, like Argentina vs Algeria, Portugal vs DR Congo, and so on, this tournament also kicks off with the Group Stage. Anyway, here are the 2 stages:
Stage 1 – Group Stage
Now, the Group Stage begins on June 20 and will run until June 25, with 3 group matches. During this stage, you’ll get to play a few matches against NPC Brawler teams, including Brawlers from the Ranger Ranch trio, Candy Stand, and more, but it will be challenging.
While it’s just 3 group matches, each one lasts 2 days, challenging your team to fill the Community bar before your rival does. And, it is fairly easy and fun to fill it, since you just have to win matches in the new game mode, the Super Brawl Ball. That said, the NPC teams also have their own bars that will fill overtime, making the Group Stage more challenging than it already is.
After that comes Group Match 3 from June 24 to 25, 2026, which begins the actual showdown. Here, we’ll witness the battle between Community Team 1 and Community Team 2.
Stage 2 – Elimination Stage
After the Group Stage is done, the Elimination Stage takes place from June 26 to July 1, 2026, and the schedule is as follows:
- Quarter-Finals – June 26 to 27, 2026.
- Semi-Finals – June 28 to 29, 2026.
- Grand Finals – June 30 to July 1, 2026. (Rematch between Community Team 1 vs Community Team 2)
Now, in the Grand Finals, both teams will get the last chance to fill their bar first. This is more like a race, since whichever team fills it first will be declared the winner of the adidas Starr Cup Tournament and win the exclusive adidas Champion title.
And that’s not all, since this collab event also introduces the adidas Half-Time Challenge. Well, this will happen on the second day of each match, letting you earn a bonus reward in addition to the normal ones. You can look forward to the dev team posting a short video with more info every two days at 08:00 UTC.
Now, while the event itself is super exciting, considering it is a collaboration with adidas, you’re also getting a variety of solid rewards throughout the event, and they’re as follows:
