Necrosoft Games and Ysbryd Games have officially rolled out patch v1.10 for their hit tactical horror-comedy RPG, Demonschool.
Dubbed “The BIG Free Update,” this major content drop rewards the game’s passionate community with highly requested quality-of-life improvements, a robust New Game+ mode, expanded overworld accessibility, and a massive injection of character dialogue.
The update serves as a heartfelt “thank you” to the player base following the game’s launch. While the team explicitly notes that v1.10 is not an expansion of the main narrative, it radically deepens the social and mechanical texture of the game’s beloved universe.
Carry Over Your Progress with New Game+
The crowning jewel of the v1.10 patch is the inclusion of a comprehensive New Game+ mode. Players with a completed save file can now restart the supernatural semester while retaining all of their hard-earned abilities, credits, opals, relationships, fish, and clubhouse upgrades.

Furthermore, once players unlock a full squad in late Week 10, all characters become instantly playable. This opens up entirely new tactical possibilities, allowing players to deploy squad combinations in battles where they were never originally intended to be.
A Vibrant, Quippier Clubhouse
Demonschool has earned praise for its memorable cast, and v1.10 heavily expands on their relationships. By completing battles together, non-Faye characters can now form bonds that trigger 182 new, short dialogue interactions around the clubhouse, offering fresh color and comedic dynamics for every possible character pairing.

Additionally, the developers have more than doubled the general clubhouse dialogue. Cast members will no longer just react to the current calendar week; they now feature location-aware, goofy dialogue that changes based on the clubhouse style and whatever specific activity they are performing.
Community Requests & Accessibility Upgrades
Responding directly to community feedback, Necrosoft has implemented several major infrastructure updates:
- Full Mouse Control: Fulfilling a massive accessibility request, the entire overworld and battle system can now be played using only a mouse. Players can left-click to move protagonist Faye to a location, or right-click and drag to have her follow the cursor.
- Dialogue History Log: A brand-new text log allows players to catch up on missed text, making the last 20 lines of dialogue instantly scrollable.
- Pacing Improvements: Character sprite movements and cutscene pacing have been significantly accelerated, targeting some of the game’s historically slower weeks.
- The Faye Pretzel Promise: Honoring a milestone community promise, players can now officially purchase a highly anticipated pretzel from the alleyway on Mondays starting in Week 9.
Bug Fixes and Balancing
The v1.10 patch notes detail dozens of precise technical sweeps. The update includes a comprehensive grammar pass across the main story and NPC lines, fixes for relationship leveling bugs (ensuring maxed companions properly achieve “Soulmate” status), and essential combat adjustments.

Notable battle fixes include smartening up Gangster AI to avoid suicidal explosive attacks, smoothing out physics interactions for Henk’s item placements, and resolving rare softlocks tied to the Beetle Racing minigame.
Demonschool is currently running a promotional sale across digital storefronts to celebrate the launch of the update. The developers encourage fans old and new to share their experiences and leave reviews to support the ongoing visibility of the title.
