Dana White believes the UFC has made nearly every major fight than the fans wanted to see. Unfortunately, it seems that fight fans are in almost unanimous disagreement about that.
White, who seldom admits to any errors when it comes to running the UFC, made this bold claim during an appearance on WFAN Sports Radio this week, when he was asked if there are any fights he regrets not making.
Here’s how he answered:
“There’s probably been a few — I can’t remember off the top of my head,” White began. “What I’ve been very lucky about in my career is every fight that the fans wanted to see, we’ve pretty much made. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s about. My job is to make the fights the fans want to see and we do that pretty much every weekend.”

Fans don’t agree with UFC boss Dana White
Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to disagree with this comment from White. Most drew attention to the UFC’s failure to book matchups like Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones, Tom Aspinall vs. Jon Jones, and most recently, Islam Makhachev vs. Ilia Topuria. Other examples mentioned included Anderson Silva vs. Georges St-Pierre, and Conor McGregor vs. Jorge Masvidal.

At the same time, the UFC deserves from credit for booking blockbusters like Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov, and of course, Khamzat Chimaev vs. Sean Strickland. The latter fight headlines UFC 328 this weekend.
What do you think of this claim from UFC CEO Dana White?
