Invincible Vs is now available worldwide. The base roster is made up of 18 characters with four more, including The Immortal and Universa, on the way as DLC.
Of course, Rex Splode is one of the characters that made it to the base roster. No doubt, part of the reason behind his popularity is his unique personality.
To better accentuate Rex’s brash quirks, the Invincible Vs developers are releasing the “Rex Splode Towel Skin” for $9.99, which is a little more expensive than the other skins that are going for $4.99.
As implied by the name, Rex fights in just a towel as though he had just finished taking a shower. There’s a scene in Invincible that had Rex getting caught cheating on Atom Eve with Dupli-Kate while in the shower.
Regardless, Rex is not known for being especially bashful. In fact, he seemingly enjoys flashing his nudity.
This is depicted in the game as Rex can be made to perform a number of poses that essentially flashes his junk from underneath the towel. Fortunately (or “unfortunately” depending on who you ask), the underside of Rex’s towel is obscured with pixelated censors, so it isn’t possible to see anything too offensive in-game.
