circuit-building roguelite reaches version 1.0 with new endgame content and a full release on Steam.
Horizont Computer Grafik announced that version 1.0 of Rogue Voltage will be released on May 1, 2026, ending the six-year development process that has included nearly two years in Steam Early Access.
This was revealed in a new community post, thanking players for supporting them during the Early Access time period, and asking them to follow along with the last leg leading up to the launch.
Version 1.0 represents the culmination of over 2 years of work after entering early access in Steam on May 10, 2024.

Rogue Voltage is an “engineering roguelike,” however, this description does little justice to what is presented within the game. Instead of just drawing cards from your hand and using them to attack, you are able to wire modules together to create your own combat ability (circuits) that generates, stores, amplifies or converts energy into attacks and/or other effects.
Therefore, the combat in Rogue Voltage is focused on creating a puzzle to solve by arranging and manipulating your resources. Over 160 unique modules have been designed for the game, providing ample opportunity for unexpected combinations and broken machine logic in each run.

Additionally, while Rogue Voltage follows traditional turn-based design, it utilizes time management mechanics.
By utilizing Gravitonics, you are able to move turns back and forth in time, allowing you to advance or delay your position relative to your opponents, get out of danger, or place your opponents into dangerous areas.
Therefore, instead of having multiple cards to play per turn, you are deciding how much energy to commit to either damaging your opponent directly, storing the energy for future use, advancing or delaying your progress through the timeline, or controlling when your opponents take their turns.

Players experience procedural generation in various environments called biomes, filled with enemies and increasing threat levels.
After completing a run of the game, players return to camp and perform upgrades on buildings, obtain permanent growth opportunities, save their preferred modules, add new ones to their collection, and build customized versions of their characters.
Testing for version 1.0 is currently at the final stages. Prior to launch, the developer recently placed all of the content slated for version 1.0 into a beta branch for Steam users. They requested players assist with finding bugs and helping identify balance issues by leaving feedback via Discord or the bug reporting feature in-game.
As of today’s writing, Rogue Voltage can be purchased for PC through Steam where the average user review rating is very positive.
