Jay-Jay Wilson is back with a vengeance.
On Thursday, Wilson squared off against the undefeated Darragh Kelly in the main event of PFL Belfast at the SSE Arena in Northern Ireland. And after just 37 seconds, Kelly was undefeated no more, thanks to a savage left hook from “The Maori Kid.”
Wilson and Kelly wasted no time getting into the action, with Helly pressing in aggressively on Wilson. But Wilson landed a sharp body kick that drew Kelly in, and then flattened him with his left hand and follow-up shots, scoring the fastest finish of his career.
The loss is the first of Kelly’s career as the fighter out of SBG Ireland was 9-0 as a professional heading into this bout. It was also an important rebound win for Wilson, who lost his last time out in the PFL cage, dropping a decision to Archie Colgan.
