Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is coming later this year, and it seems alternate costumes are going to finally become more of a regular thing in Arc System Works fighting games.
Marvel and ArcSys have now offered a better look at one of the special outfits players can get for Storm in Marvel Tokon.
As we previously covered in our Marvel Tokon pre-order guide, the game’s Ultimate Edition comes packing five additional costumes with more presumably being added to the title later after launch.
Storm’s is her punk rock attire, which the official post states was inspired by her appearance in the Uncanny X-Men #173 comic book.
We got a glimpse of it before, but now we can see the full front and back.
Storm is rocking her big Mohawk with long hair still in the back along with a leather vest, some big belts, ripped jeans and a big ol’ pair of boots.
They also showed off a better look at the Spider-Man “Advanced Suit 2.0” costume, so that still leaves three more we’ve only seen part of.

Those are Classic Iron Man, Classic Captain America and Supreme Ruler Doctor Doom.
The Ultimate Edition of Marvel Tokon is $100 and contains the game, those outfits, the Year 1 Characters and Stage Pass, lobby items and animated chromatic colors for all 20 launch characters.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising kicked off the ArcSys push to release new costumes for their fighting games, and Guilty Gear Strive finally started receiving new outfits too with the big Version 2.00 update last week.

So it seems like the developers have a grasp on switching up their characters’ appearances with the way they animate their games and having the backing of Marvel is probably helping out here now too.
So it’ll be interesting to see how many costumes Marvel Tokon is going to get and how much they’re going to cost, but we’ll have to wait and find out.
Peni Parker was revealed as the newest Marvel Tokon character, and her trailer may have contained some teasers for more of the rest of the roster too if the fan theory surrounding it is correct.
Marvel Tokon: Souls is set to release on August 6, 2026 for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
