HE GCCSG Conducts Telephone Calls with Their Highnesses and Excellencies the GCC Foreign Ministers to Discuss Developments Regarding Nefarious Iranian Attacks on Council States

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), conducted a series of telephone calls with Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Foreign Ministers of the GCC states, today, Saturday, March 7, 2026.

During these calls, views were exchanged and consultations were held regarding current regional developments, aimed at strengthening the unified Gulf stance toward the developments of the nefarious Iranian attacks.

His Excellency also briefed Their Highnesses and Excellencies the GCC Foreign Ministers on the substance of his communications with several officials from friendly and brotherly nations. These officials had affirmed their countries’ support for the GCC’s position against the treacherous attacks and expressed their unwavering solidarity with the Council states.

Moreover, His Excellency Mr Albudaiwi underscored that these calls are part of the continuous monitoring of the grave developments and reflect the GCC’s commitment to enhancing joint Gulf action. He underlined the significance of unifying efforts and positions toward the challenges facing the GCC members states’ security and stability to ensure the preservation of their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
