MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – Two people were arrested after several guns and drugs were seized from a Gresham home this week, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
On Tuesday, deputies, along with detectives, the East Metro SWAT Team, and MCSO Logistics Evidence Unit, served a court-authorized search warrant at a home in the 2500 block of NW 4th Street.
According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation started after complaints from the community about potential illegal activity at the home.
During the search of the home, the sheriff’s office said deputies seized six rifles, a bulletproof vest, cocaine, methamphetamine, and drug manufacturing equipment.
Two people, 49-year-old Tai Nguyen and 76-year-old Craig Larson, were arrested and booked into the Multnomah County jail.
Nguyen is facing charges of unlawful manufacture of cocaine, unlawful distribution of cocaine, and unlawful possession of cocaine. Larson was charged with unlawful manufacture of cocaine, unlawful distribution of cocaine, unlawful possession of cocaine, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
The sheriff’s office said more charges may be considered by the district attorney’s office.
The investigation is ongoing, and no other details have been released at this time.
